Check out our Top Five picks from the launch weekend of the epic 12-week season to come from Manchester's legendary Warehouse Project
Ok, so basically everyone ever is playing Manchester's The Warehouse Project over their 12-week season this year. Having now revealed their full line-ups, launching on 28th September, the iconic series will be taking over the Victoria Warehouse. They'll be kicking off the launch with RINSE bringing down their full crew of Katy B, Skream, Zinc, Oneman, Brackles, Elijah & Skilliam, plus the likes of Kode 9, Diplo, Lianne La Havas, Alunageorge, Pearson Sound, Jackmaster - and that's to name but a few.
With a hugely varying schedule roaming across all genres, specialising in electronic sounds, the Project will be presenting more warehouse vibes with heavyweights like Seth Troxler, Heidi b2b Maya Jane Coles, Joy Orbison, Scuba, Four Tet, and Julio Bashmore as well as more experimental artists like Nicolas Jaar live - all in one epic night. Meanwhile, October sees events curated by Bloc Party, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (with The 2 Bears, Friendly Fires Vs Foals, Factory Floor, John Talabot for their Halloween Special), and SBTRKT, seeing TNGHT aka Hudson Mohawke & Lunice, Caribou, Rustie, Jacques Greene, Two Inch Punch, and Krystal Klear; as well as Hospitality, Annie Mac Presents, Crosstown Rebels, Bugged Out! and Red Bull Music Academy events.
Before we all move to Manchester now, we picked some of our favourite tunes from our favourite artists set to play the launch weekend...
