RBMA: Krystal Klear Top 5 80s Tracks

The 80s-influenced artist gives us his fave lesser known tracks from the decade, in the lead-up to playing the Red Bull Music Academy event ahead of their New York 2012 launch

Having previously landed in Berlin, Toronto, London, Madrid, and Cape Town, the Red Bull Music Academy will be heading to New York City for Autumn 2012. Inviting musicians of all levels of experience to take part, the Academy will be running from 30th September to 2nd November where producers, vocalists, instrumentalists and DJs of all genres are invited to apply for the prestigious musical programme.

The world-travelling music studio and festival sets up shop in the city for five weeks of intimate workshops, concerts, and club nights held all across the boroughs. In the lead up, they will be holding a series of events to showcase what RBMA is all about; First up, Deadly People joins forces to present a free party, Discoclash at East Village on Thursday 1st March with Skream, Krystal Klear, and Hoya:Hoya's Jon K to be joined by special guests. A series of info-sessions at Red Bull Studios in London will follow, offering free intimate lectures from huge musical legends.

Closing the London series on 27th March, Red Bull Music Academy and Barcelona's Sonar Festival will curate a very special Boiler Room takeover. One of the alumni at Red Bull Music Academy in November 2011, Krystal Klear gives us his Top 80s Tracks ahead of his set at Discoclash...
