Set to play Cable's Swamp 81 night this weekend alongside the likes of Addison Groove and Pinch is Al Bleek's most recent moniker
Boddika is the relatively new moniker and side project for Al Bleek, better known for being one half of drum n’ bass heads Instra:mental. Earning praise from various quarters as one of the most innovative producers currently plying his trade in underground dance music, the ace up Boddika’s sleeve is his peerless skill to shake up and mould the old with the new; he mixes together electro, house and techno to create a retro/future hybrid in a melting pot of bleeps and bass.
With recent singles ‘Electron’ and ‘2727’ on Loefah’s Swamp81 label further displaying his fresh talent and cementing his place at the top of the tree, Boddika has been invited back to play at the Swamp81 party that will be held at Cable this Saturday alongside fellow burgeoning producers Addison Groove, Pinch, Jam City, Trusta and Will Bankhead. Room 2 will be hosted by none other than Oneman’s 502 Recordings, and the man himself with be playing a set accompanied by Fis-T, Teeth, Bad Autopsy and Visionist.
