Besides churning out his own creations often utilising eerily distorted samples, he's also been running his iconic Werk Discs label featuring stunning releases from creatives like Zomby and Lone. Catch the Werk honcho this Saturday with support from one of his finest signings, Lukid.
Dazed Digital: Which sort of emotions do you want to stir when you play out (this weekend or otherwise)? Solely the desire to dance, or is it something completely different?
Actress: When I play music for people or when I perform live, the experience is always a new one for me.. So I am often as excited about what is about to happen as the audience is uncertain.. It's that not knowing what’s going to happen that keeps things interesting and real...
DD: What kind of things are you listening to at the moment?
Actress: My listening habits change all the time depending on what I'm doing at a specific time. I listen to everything, and I'm buying records all the time. Most recently I’ve been listening to a lot of Tevo Howard and his album Pandora’s Box, Dave ID, BNJMN, Belgian Wave and Pop, Jurgen Muller.
DD: Currently, who are your favourite actresses?
Actress: I only have one favourite actress and that's Bette Davis, but if I had to choose one from now it would probably be me.
DD: What are you most looking forward to next?
Actress: Bunnin' some weed in Venezuela.
