Come to Dazed Club’s ICA talk on contemporary culture writing

Our event, Making Your Words Count, will teach you how to write about culture in the age of digital media

Are you interested in writing about contemporary culture? Ever read Dazed Digital and think, “That should/could/HAS to be me writing that article about incredible new photography”?

If so, you should come down to Dazed Club’s event at the ICA, the first of a year’s worth of events programming around creative industries. Join Halima Jibril, Dazed’s contributing features writer; Emily Dinsdale, Dazed’s art and photography editor; and Kat Benedict, freelance writer and the ICA’s Head of Communications, as they discuss the state of arts and culture writing now, how they got started, and what it’s like writing across a variety of social media platforms.

And an added perk is that if you come, the ICA will also give you a ticket to their current exhibition, Christopher Kulendran Thomas: Another World

Tickets are £6, or £3 for Dazed Club members.

Dazed Club is our membership programme which, among other things, puts on a slate of events around creative careers, does open calls, and shares insights from our editors and teams. JOIN HERE to book your half-price tickets.

The talk is at 7pm Thursday 15 December at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, The Mall, London. Get your tickets here.
