Job Title: Paid Media and Data Manager

Department: Dazed Digital

Reporting to: Senior SEO and Media Manager


This is a mid-level digital role which involves implementing and monitoring Dazed Media’s paid social campaigns and assisting with data capture and analysis across the business. You’ll be charged with delivering actionable insights, reporting on performance metrics and using competitor research to help inform digital strategies benefiting Dazed Media’s editorial and commercial teams. You will need to ensure paid campaigns are delivered on time and to the highest possible standard and have a passion for innovation in the paid media sector. You will have a strong knowledge of all social media platforms plus a high-level understanding of Google Analytics, CrowdTangle, Quantcast and Shareablee. 


  • Implement timely and impactful paid media campaigns across social (inc. Facebook, Twitter, Insta, YouTube and more) 
  • Work with Senior SEO and Media Manager to build new and innovative paid social campaigns to reach more of our audience than ever before 
  • Supply accurate pre and post campaign performance and audience benchmarking reports for the commercial team and provide relevant data to power commercial pitches
  • Investigate competitors and research digital behaviours in order to keep teams up to date with strategies that can improve our output
  • Ensure dotcom and social data is gathered and distributed across the business — including editorial, social and studio teams — as and when required
  • Complete and assist with daily digital admin and ad hoc tasks as directed by line managers 


  • Confidence in managing  multiple media briefs simultaneously and delivering campaigns on time
  • Advanced knowledge and familiarity of Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads
  • Strong knowledge of best optimisation practices for paid social campaigns
  • Strong knowledge and experience of using Google Analytics,CrowdTangle and Quantcast
  • Understanding of 1st and 3rd party data sources to inform content strategy, pitches to clients and drive audience acquisition
  • Understanding of digital storytelling and social distribution 
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team

This is a full-time permanent role.
32 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays, Christmas closure and birthday), increasing to 37 days over five years.
The position is based in London at our creative and dynamic office on Arundel Street WC2.
You must hold the required visa to live and work in the UK.
