The world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish from our own, as users recreate pretty much everything from Lady Gaga and Britney Spears music videos to historic artworks. Let’s be honest, it was only a matter of time until Joe Exotic turned up as well.
In a crossover that unites 2020’s biggest pop-cultural talking points so far, the infamous ex-zookeeper features in a new Tiger King trailer, created pretty much entirely in Animal Crossing.
Posted to YouTube May 18, and credited to Reddit user elpinko, the trailer also features the rest of the Tiger King cast as Animal Crossing avatars, which give the potential stars of the upcoming TV drama something to aspire to.
Elsewhere in Animal Crossing, it’s become easier to let your political leanings known, with a virtual version of Tottenham-based designer Sports Banger’s ‘Fuck Boris’ t-shirt. This comes alongside several other bootleg fits that have hit the game’s fashion scene since release.
