Always pursuing the ultimate casual luxury collection, Bottega Veneta put on another stellar show. A subtly graphic suit pattern opened up the proceedings on a row of greyish blue outfits. The focus on fabrics continued with through structured casual suit materials with a creased touch to them. All of a sudden colour struck as lightning as yellow and red cords appeared. A midnight blue peacoat continued the theme.
“We started thinking about the way we make things and what effect that has on the outcome. If you make a piece of clothing in a new way, what else can you achieve? The elements that comprise a man’s wardrobe don’t wary much over time. So to evolve you have to reinvent what you already have", creative director Tomas Maier explained. And that’s just what Bottega Veneta did for A/W11. With leather trousers, velour jackets and an array of especially designed fabrics, the brand always delivers a strong set of wardrobe staple pieces, whether it’s shawl collar cardigans, parka coats, or black leather trench coats.
