Loewe raids Netflix for its SS25 pre-collection campaign

Shot by Juergen Teller, the brand’s SS25 pre-collection campaign features an eclectic bunch of actors and creatives including Ambika Mod, Richard Gadd, Drew Starkey, Ayo Edebiri and more

Loewe is back with a brand new SS25 pre-collection campaign shot by Juergen Teller

The JW Anderson-led campaign, shot against a stark white background, features an eclectic bunch of actors and creatives – including multiple people from recent hit TV shows. The cast includes One Day’s Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall, Ayo Edebiri, Drew Starkey, Baby Reindeer’s Richard Gadd, and Thai actress Baifern Pimchanok, alongside a number of other performers dressed as knights, ballroom dancers, and bodybuilders.

Each shot juxtaposes the talent against one or more performers, “in pairings that are both intentional and spontaneous”.

In one photo One Day star Woodall grins at the camera with the Pebble bucket in his hand while a knight grips a sword by his side. In another shot, Baby Reindeer creator Gadd stares down the lens as a vegetable enthusiast shows off his prize marrow in the background.

Elsewhere, other “unexpected combinations” include Woodall’s One Day co-star Mod donning the Pebble bag alongside two oiled-up bodybuilders; The Bear’s Edebiri holding the Squeeze bag next to a trio of rugby boys; and Pimchanok wearing the Flamenco knit bag while a boat captain beams behind her.

It’s a kooky, quirky shoot, with Teller’s distinctive eye lending the campaign “a varnish of dry humour”. Check out the full campaign in the gallery above.

Loewe’s SS25 pre-collection launches in stores and on loewe.com on November 14. For more information go to loewe.com.
