@rafsimonsFashion / NewsFashion / NewsRaf Simons just hinted at an upcoming project with The xxVia a cryptic Instagram postShareLink copied ✔️November 25, 2019November 25, 2019Text Emma Elizabeth Davidson Raf Simons may have cited the fast pace of fashion as part of the reason he bowed out of working first at Dior and latterly at Calvin Klein, but that doesn’t mean he’s set to be taking it slower any time soon. With his latest collection for Fred Perry having dropped just a few weeks ago, the legendary Belgian designer just hinted at an upcoming collab via his official Instagram page. A new post features a monochrome, Willy Vanderperre-lensed photograph of The xx’s Oliver Sim, who is seen wearing a black turtleneck sweater with an RS-embossed X pinned to it. The accompanying caption reads ‘Raf Simons / The xx coming soon!’. System magazine is also tagged in the post, with further details seemingly set to be revealed when its latest issue lands on shelves this week. Of course, this isn’t the first time Simons has joined forces with The xx. The designer previously worked with the London-based band and photographer and filmmaker Alisdair McLellan on the video for “I Dare You” in 2017. Needless to say, we’re on tenterhooks – hold tight for more details, and revisit Raf’s SS20 collection below. Raf Simons SS20Escape the algorithm!
