Double Denim Me Up

Danish label Wood Wood launch Double Denim and pop-up shop WWXV in Vienna showcasing Jeremy Scott, Head Porter and Peter Jensen.

Copenhagen designers Wood Wood debut Double Denim, a contemporary denim range to be released this autumn. The collection features highwaisted skinny fit women’s jeans; jackets and pencil skirts, for men the styles include thicker denim cut in Japanese selvedge woven in Okayama, Japan. The style is kept clean and minimal with focus on silhouette and fine detail.

Wood Wood are curating a pop up store in Vienna, called WWXV, which runs for approximately two weeks. Berlin collective Pool Gallery and Peter Beste have been selected to provide the artwork with designers Jeremy Scott, Head Porter and Peter Jensen will be showcasing for the first time in Vienna. The store aims to contrast the bleak serious fashion scene in Austria with a blend of art, pop, consumerism and fun all with an underground lifestyle element. The shop runs in conjunction with the '9 festival for fashion photography' an annual event organised by the Unit F buro fur mode. Wood stores can be found in Copenhagen, Berlin and Stockholm.

The pop-up store is located on Gumpendorfer Strasse 23, 1060 Vienna, Austria and runs until 10 June 2009.
