Burberry has returned to
London Fashion Week. Prorsum is to be shown this coming September at Somerset House, the new home of LFW. The move also marks the 25th anniversary of the
British Fashion Council, London Fashion Week and
British Fashion Awards. Christopher Bailey, Creative Director of Burberry explains "London is our home - it's the heart of this global luxury brand and the centre of all our creativity".
The British Fashion Council have hinted over the possibility of other British designers returning to London catwalks for September, although with nothing announced at present, we can only speculate as to whom they are referring to. Harold Tillman, Chairman of the British Fashion Council commented "This September will see London Fashion Week showcasing the best of British talent: iconic, established and new, and Burberry joining us is a fitting tribute to 25 years of creativity in London".
London Fashion Week is scheduled to take place from the 18 - 22 September 2009.
