Roberto Cavalli SS15

On a gilded runway, slick city bohémiennes meet birds of an Ibizan paradise – with lace, silver croc and flamboyant feathered trousers

Initial reaction:

Like his SS15 collection for diffusion line Just Cavalli, shown earlier this week in Milan, Roberto Cavalli sent out a city slick bohemian with even racier leanings down the gilded boardwalk runway. Starting off with birds of paradise prints fuelled by Ibiza sun, embellished leather, lace and skins worked into minis and cropped jackets soon took over to ensure that Cavalli femmes are hot to trot in the city. Heidi Klum, in Cavalli monochrome stripes, was definitely giving her most approving of Project Runway looks.

How they wore it:

Stripped back for a Cavalli girl with mussed up hair and less layers than normal as seen in the metallic bikini fused with an asymmetric black dress.

Stand out looks:

Pleated tropical printed maxi dresses with horizontal sheer stripes that looked like intricate Miao tribe costumes. The effect was repeated with black on black croc and chiffon. The black feathered trousers towards the end worn by Binx Walton were an alluring touch of flamboyance from Cavalli.
