Another Man's Editor Ben Cobb on romance and orange-haired punks...
Dazed's team round up each day of Paris menswear Spring/Summer 13 with their thoughts. At the end of day three, we speak to Another Man's Editor, Ben Cobb...
Dazed Digital: Over the last few days Alister Mackie and Bryan McMahon styled Louis Vuitton and Hardy Amies respectively. Is it exciting to see their styling in such big, inspiring productions?
Ben Cobb: Definitely, their work is always massively inspiring. And having our Creative Director and Senior Fashion Director so heavily involved in the creative process at luxury houses like Louis Vuitton and Hardy Amies means that the magazine doesn't just comment on the season – it is actively part of defining the season.
DD: What were your highlights of today?
Ben Cobb: The romantic feel of Givenchy, orange-haired punks at Commes des Garçons and Berluti's presentation and dinner in the Palais Royal gardens.
DD: Were there any surprises?
Ben Cobb: Loewe are masters of understated chic but this season they introduced some lively prints – I particularly loved the ornate Picasso-inspired shirt.
DD: Any tips for a late night drink now that the Hemingway bar is closed?
Ben Cobb: My hotel room.
