The month ahead is a catalyst for change, we explore how the celestial shifts will affect you

June is a catalyst for big changes, and all signs are swept up by the air of celestial shifts, as we venture through the sign of Gemini. The Sun in Gemini makes us animated, chatty, and eager for stimulation and variety- despite what our current circumstances may permit. In true Gemini fashion, it’s a busy month in the heavens, with Mercury stationing retrograde on June 18, and Venus still retrograde until June 25.

As always with Mercury retrograde, delays and miscommunications can be anticipated. A Full Moon Lunar eclipse in Sagittarius on June 5 brings us a reckoning with the passions of the past, and presents us with an opportunity to extinguish the flames of outdated belief systems. We are encouraged to try to stay flexible and prepare for the unexpected, as there is a celestial emphasis on our need for stimulation, communication and versatility.

In June, we are contemplating our journey through these tumultuous times, and we find that sometimes it is more useful to change our perspective. We are encouraged to exchange our telescope for a magnifying glass, and not get lost in the bigger picture. A lot of conflicting information may come up collectively.

The month ends with a bang, with a Cancer Solar Eclipse on June 21 – illuminating themes of caretaking, nurturing, and our more tender emotions. Gear up with your waterproof mascara and a tub of your favourite ice cream, as June is looking like an astrological display of both waterworks and fireworks.
