Newness and uniqueness prevail over conventionality as we enter progressive Aquarius season

February brings us a fresh breath of air, as we have entered progressive Aquarius season. Newness and uniqueness prevail over conventionality. The Aquarian energy keeps us hungry for fresh experiences, “out of the box” ideas and connecting to our respective communities. We abandon tradition in search of innovation, focused on our place within the collective, and how we can use our personal experiences to relate to the ever-changing world around us.

The sign of Aquarius, known for its electric unconventional thinking, bestows an energy of cerebral excitement and rebellion upon all signs for the month of February. Political conversations and alternative approaches to life take the spotlight, as we each experience the desire to experiment in our worlds.

It’s a season of peaks and valleys, as all planets are direct until February 16, when Mercury in Pisces stations retrograde, moving us from an intellectual headspace to one of more introspection. Minor delays and problems with technology and travel can be anticipated for all signs, and by the time we reach dreamy Pisces season on February 18, we are followed by an air of unreality and an urge to slow down. In the latter half of the month, we have opportunities to expand our awareness and lean into our spiritual sides. The change of pace grants us with space to complete or review any creative projects we have pushed aside.
