November begins in the sign of Scorpio, prompting us to go deeper, to embrace our sensuality, magnetism and explore our own capacity to feel intensely. Scorpio is the sign of power and transformation, and there is a focus on setting ourselves free from the shadows of the past. It is an ideal month to embrace the full spectrum of your emotions and to only follow what invokes passion and aliveness while letting any toxic subconscious material fade away.

Mercury in Scorpio turns retrograde on October 31st and may bring up old repetitive thought patterns that need to be acknowledged and released. With Mercury in Scorpio, we begin to see the differences in viewpoints of the people around us and notice that some of us are dealing with situations that are incomparable to others. We notice where our depth has disconnected from the surrounding culture. Some of us have whole realities inside of us that cannot always be shared or discussed with those who lack understanding. We are encouraged to stay in observation of what we are feeling and not allow the deepened emotions to swallow us into repeats of the past, particularly in regard to unhealthy power dynamics. It is a time for deep, inner transformation.

As always during Mercury retrograde, we are privy to experience delays in travel and communication and are encouraged to revisit projects and tie up loose ends in any unfinished deals. Mercury goes direct and into full swing November 20th, and we are given a much-needed jolt of new hope and promising opportunity, as the planets move into Sagittarius. What we want out of life is changing, and the celestial bodies are conspiring to assist us, as long as we take a leap of faith and dive into our own transformation.
