Ariana Grande’s r.e.m Beauty shares cryptic hints about the collection

The beauty brand will arrive in a series of ‘chapters’

Back in August, mysterious billboards appeared in Times Square charting the arrival of “r.e.m.”. This undoubtedly caused a huge stir among Ariana Grande fans, who believed that the message was teasing the singer’s upcoming beauty brand –  “R.E.M” is, after all, the title of a song from the singer’s 2018 Sweetener album and the name of one of the seven fragrances from her perfume line. 

With an 806k-strong Instagram account featuring clips of Grande now confirming the rumours, the brand has begun to unveil a series of equally cryptic teasers for what to expect from the collection. 

According to one of the Instagram posts, r.e.m. Beauty will release products in four “chapters”, beginning with the first installment dubbed “Ultraviolet”. “Ok so ‘chapter one: ultraviolet’ includes lashes, liners, plumping glosses, lip stains,” said the post, along with three additional products that have been blurred out.

Another post features diagrams of the products, though admittedly any details of what we can expect are vague. Nevertheless, we can presume that the “Ultraviolet” collection will feature lilac purple shades – but, until then, watch this space.
