WHAT IS IT?
Brand : Votary
Product: Super Seed Cleansing Oil - Chia and Parsley Seed
WHY SHOULD I CARE?
I first came across this product purely because I am a shopaholic and constantly looking to try out new products and Votary was one of the brands on my to-buy list. I have been using it for almost four months now and I don’t just like it, I LOVE IT. Since using it, I’ve seen a big decrease of whiteheads and blackheads on my nose and my skin’s moisture level has definitely improved.
I am a proper skincare hoe, I have a full-on skincare regimen, and this is the first product I use. I apply the oil onto dry skin and massage it in circular motions before rinsing it off with water. I usually double cleanse and end with a face wash. I do have my lazy days, though, and this oil is very multifunctional, it can substitute for my massage cream. Because it’s fuelled by emollients, it’s extremely moisturising to the skin.
Most cleansing oils contain a blend of oils, emulsifiers, and water-activated surfactants. Many people don’t know that they need to be emulsified with water and because of that they don’t clean the residue off their face completely and get pimples. However, the Votary Super Seed Cleanser doesn’t emulsify and I can clean off any residue easily with any kind of face wash and my skin still feels extremely moisturised and clean.
The fictional character who would use it is... Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada.
If I were communicating to an alien only using hand gestures, I would describe it with... a thumbs up.
If it was a meme it would be...
