Starface launch pimple patches to encourage young people to vote

There has never been a more important time to vote

If you are in the US there has never been a more important time to exercise your democratic right to vote than this upcoming election in November.

With just 36 days left until election day, beauty brands have been pitching in to help encourage voter registration and get the message across. Make-up brand The Lip Bar teamed up with Michelle Obama and non-profit organisation When We All Vote on a limited edition lipstick. And now Starface has released a new voting edition of its signature pimple patches.

The limited edition ‘Vote Star’ pimple patch has launched in partnership with Alliance for Youth Action, a nationwide network that empowers local young people’s organisations to strengthen the country’s democracy, fix the economy and correct injustices. The two are hoping the Hydro-Stars will encourage Starface’s young customers to be politically active and emphasising the importance of the young people’s vote. The skincare brand has also donated $10,000 directly to Alliance for Youth Action.

Alongside the patches, Starface has launched a campaign talking to young first time voters about why they will be casting their ballots this November.
