This new hair invention is here to stop you getting your wig snatched

TextDominic Cadogan

The Wig Fix has been engineered to stop your hair from going anywhere

Earlier this year, we explored where we’re at with wigs in 2020 and how everyone is going wild for them – from Cardi B and Nicki Minaj to Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. But with the growing trend of wigs brings with it, wig snatching; whether you’re yanking it off your own head à la Katy Perry or having it snatched on repeat like meme queen Nicole Tv.

However, hair brand Renatural is here to help with your wig woes – inventing The Wig Fix to keep your hair from going anywhere. The Wig Fix is a simple silicone headband with grooves to help fix your wig in place when on the head, negating the need for glue, tape, or any other techniques previously used to hold it to your head. Medically approved, the invention also stimulates increased blood flow to your edges, encouraging the growth of thicker natural hair.

“The beauty industry as a whole is experiencing so much innovation but the wig industry has been saturated with the same products for decades,” explains Aasiyah Abdulsalam, CEO and founder of Renatural. “There’s so much creativity and DIY solutions that stem from stylists and customers but the products offered just aren’t matching up. At The Renatural we aspire to fill that gap – all of our products will be the first of their kind, designed and invented for all of your wig needs.”

If you need any further convincing, look no further than the Instagram account, with fans trying and testing The Wig Fix. An invention this unlucky rollercoaster rider could have benefitted from.
