The first TikTok beauty influencer make-up range has arrived

Introducing Gloss Twins

It’s started – TikTok beauty influencer make-up lines are coming.

First it was the YouTubers – Jaclyn Hill, Huda Kattan, Jeffree Star. Then the celebrities came in full force: Ariana Grande, Hailey Bieber, Lady Gaga, Kylie, Rihanna, Kim, Madonna, Selena Gomez. But while TikTok has been great for viral make-up challenges, questionable beauty hacks (we’re looking at you glue lips) and less questionable beauty hacks (sock hair), it hadn’t spawned it’s own products...until now. Yes, the first TikTok beauty brand is officially here.

The inaugural line comes courtesy of Shanae and Renae Nel AKA the Nel Twins who have launched Gloss Twins just in time for their 20th birthdays. Boasting 1.2 million followers on TikTok, the “twinfluencers’s” account mainly consists of dances, lip-syncing and beauty videos.

“We have put our heart and soul into these products at the age of 19/20 we can’t believe we have achieved this, since little girls we have always had a passion for makeup mainly lipsticks/lipgloss,” the twins wrote in their announcement posted on Instagram. “Dreams do come true if you put it in the hands of God.”

The range is made up of three lip glosses, each retailing for £9.50 and is available to preorder now. With lockdown in place throughout the UK, all physical promotion plans have been put on hold but the pair plans to livestream lab sessions over the next few weeks and, of course, have been gifting the lip glosses to fellow TikTok influencers in the meantime.
