Millie Bobby Brown accused of faking a tutorial with her own products

The video shows the young actress showing fans her new Florence By Mills skincare range while wearing a full face of make-up

Last month, Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown announced she was launching her own beauty brand – entitled Florence by Mills, as an ode to her late great-grandmother.

To help promote the label, MBB posted a video to YouTube entitled ‘Nighttime skincare routine with Mills’ to show off some of the skincare products available. However, according to eagle-eyed fans, the actress only pretends to use the products – all while wearing a full face of make-up.

After misting her face with the Zero Chill Face Mist, Brown moves on to the Get That Grime Face Scrub and this is when fans’ suspicions were raised. In the video, Brown squeezes the product from the bottle onto her hands off-camera and then proceeds to rub her face with – many people believe – absolutely nothing on her hands.

“Wait there is nothing on her face???? What is she using?? Air????” comments one user, with another adding, “I’m so lost- how is it beneficial to use the spray, then wash it right off? The spray isn't going to remove make-up... also there was no moisturiser in her hand either!” On Twitter, @sadfta’s tweet that asks: “WHO IS SHE FOOLING????” has over 14k retweets.

The actress is yet to respond to accusations from fans.

UPDATE: Millie Bobby Brown has now responded via Instagram. Her statement reads: “I’m still learning the best way to share my routines as I get to know this space better – I’m not an expert. I thought doing a quick video replicating my personal process for that night was okay, but that’s not what was conveyed. I understand, I appreciate all of your feedback on this journey, please keep sharing your thoughts and I will too! ily guys x #loveandlight”
