Kylie’s Halloween collection just dropped and it’s got 3D packaging. Spooky.
The offical Kylie Jenner way to celebrate an occassion is with a makeup drop, and rightly so. Having marked birthdays, holidays and even Stormi’s birth with a collection in the past, married with the fact that no one quite does dress-up like the Kardashian/Jenner clan, we should have seen this Halloween installment coming.
After teasing the spooky collection earlier this week, last night Kylie took to Instagram to unveil the products which will be dropping on October 12.
Comprising of four lipsticks, one matte lip kit (a blood-red appropriately named “Bite Me”), two eye glitters, one eyeshadow palette, one highlighter, and a lip gloss, the collection is a purple, green, and orange-hued spook fest with names like “Creep it Real,” “Hey Pumpkin,” and “Witch and Famous.”
If that’s not enough, the packaging, which features skeletons, ghosts, mummies, bats, and a vampire makeover for the famous lip kit lips, is also 3D, with every order coming with a pair of 3D glasses.
With rumours of a “Kylie Skin” skincare range in the works and another collaboration with Kim coming soon, plus the very recent range with best friend Jordyn Woods and the news last month that Kylie Cosmetics will soon be sold in US-retailer Ulta - marking the first time the brand has sold through a partner retailer and the first time it will have a permanent physical outlet - it’s set to be a busy time for the brand.
In the two years since Kylie Cosmetics launched, fans have propelled the brand to an estimated value of $800 million. The company has sold more than $630 million worth of makeup since 2016 and already generated an estimated $230 million in net profit, according to Forbes who recently named Jenner as one of the youngest ever ““self-made”” billionaires.
