This incense smells like Erykah Badu’s Mythical Ass Pussy

Give me everything you got for this MAP

If there’s one thing you can’t fault 2020 for it’s the growing trend of vagina-scented products (and songs) that has emerged this year.

First came Goop’s “This Smells Like My Vagina” candle which developed from a joke between Heretic perfumer Douglas Little and Gwyneth Paltrow after Paltrow thought the geranium and Damask rose fragrance they were creating smelled like a vagina. Needless to say, the candle sold out immediately.

Then came Erykah Badu who went one step further and created incense that actually smells like her “superpower” AKA her legendary vagina and was crafted by burning her own underwear. Titled “Badussy”, the incense was created by taking lots of pairs of her panties, cutting them up into little pieces and burning them. “Even the ash is part of it,” the singer revealed. Badussy was a hit, selling out in under 20 minutes and subsequent restocks have similarly sold out.

Now, after a brief foray into the penis realm, Badu is back with another incense paying tribute to her vagina and inspired by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP”. Announcing the news on Twitter, Badu introduced the new incense called “MAP” AKA Mythical Ass Pussy: “Cause she put pussy on the MAP . AND Cause you deserve it.” she wrote

Badu is, of course, referring to the urban legend that her “pussy changes men.” “The men that I fall in love with, and fall in love with me, change jobs and lives,” she previously said in an interview. The singer has also in the past referred to her “Midas pussy” saying “My pussy give you 3 wishes. My pussy put you on the Forbes list. My pussy is the fountain of youth. My pussy sold out in 9 minutes. My pussy cure ailments.”

There is currently no date for when Mythical Ass Pussy will be released but Badu says it will drop soon. Judging by previous releases, when it does you’ll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on it.

Why shouldn’t our houses smell like OPP?
