Rihanna spotlights breast cancer survivors in new Savage x Fenty collection

The limited-edition Savage x Thrivers line was released in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month

Like us, you’re probably still quaking from the Savage x Fenty show that completely destroyed NYFW and Victoria’s Secret simultaneously. ICYMI, or haven’t had a chance to watch yet, it was a huge bonanza that featured a literal army of models from the likes of Cara Delevingne to activist and amputee Mama Cax (read more of her experiences here). 

Now, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Rihanna has announced a new collection that celebrates Thrivers – a lesser-known group of young women surviving with aggressive forms of breast cancer.

“I want to raise awareness for under-served breast cancer communities and the Savage X Thrivers represent young women of all walks of life living and thriving with cancer,” explains Rihanna on the collection. “The easiest way for people to get involved and make a difference is by shopping this box and collection.” 

Featuring Stephanie Seban, Bianca MunizJohanna De La Cruz, and Nalie Agustin, throughout the month the Savage x Fenty Instagram account will be sharing their stories and raising awareness around breast cancer. Find out more here
