It’s almost December, which means one thing: Christian Girl Autumn is, sadly, coming to an end. Determined to go out with a bang, Dorian Electra has dropped the music video for “F The World”, in which they transform themselves into everyone’s fave basic bitch.
Cosplaying for the season, Electra can be seen twirling for the cameras in a white beanie, pink scarf, and skinny jeans. Carrying a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte (PSL) and a side bag, and rocking a wavy ombre hairstyle, the musician cradles a pumpkin and does the infamous walking-away-while-holding-hands pose.
At the end of the video, Electra changes into tiny denim shorts, and twerks against a ladder filled with apples. In an Instagram thirst trap after releasing the video, Electra said: “Feelin so #blessed by y’all’s enormous outpouring of love for my new music video for ‘F The World’! <2 🤗🍁☕️🍂 Thanks for lettin me be myself, sing my heart out and celebrate this beautiful season!”
In honour of the video, and their new persona, Electra has also dropped the ‘Perfect PSL Autumn Make-Up Tutorial’. The video sees Electra and their friend on livestream, offering viewers a step-by-step guide to a beauty look inspired by the “fragility of nature” during fall.
Over the hour and a half, Electra continues to cosplay as the Christian Girl Autumn stereotype, dropping clichés like, ‘Live, Laugh, Love’, claiming church is “a state of mind”, and basically being insufferable.
The artist later tweeted a (presumably fake) voucher for a free Starbucks PSL, complete with a photo of Electra from the “F The World” video and the caption: “Let’s celebrate! 🤗🍁☕”
