Ever since HBO’s Euphoria came onto our screens and into our lives this summer it’s had people talking. From the depictions of queer romance to active shooter drills and bleak portrayals of what sex looks like in a social media world, Euphoria captures all the nuances of being a teen in 2019.
One of the biggest talking points has been the beauty looks which, since the very first episode, have been making waves and leaving countless recreations in their wake. Masterminded by lead make-up artist Doniella Davy, the girls of Euphoria rock some of the best beauty looks seen outside a Pat McGrath runway show. From Maddie’s rhinestone-encrusted cat eyes to Jules’s playful geometric looks, the make-up on this show is a feast for the eyes – and now you can recreate it with just a touch of the screen.
That’s right, for those of you who don’t have the time (or the skill) to fashion the looks for yourself there is good news: there are now Euphoria Instagram make-up filters.
In August, Instagram expanded the scope of its filters, allowing anyone to create and share their own AR effects. Taking advantage of this new feature, YouTuber and prolific filter-creator Igor Saringer has created 10 Euphoria-inspired looks ranging from Jules' cloud eyeliner to Kat's bold neon green look, all of which can be found on Saringer’s Instagram account under the name ‘Maquiagens Euphoria’.
