Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll recently have come across the work of FaceApp on social media – the new popular software (with dubious privacy policies) that’s been turning all your faves into the opposite gender, as well as into babies or pensioners.
With that in mind, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Rihanna’s latest Instagram post was just another FaceApp job – with the singer seemingly appearing as a young girl in the back of a car. That is, until you read the caption – ‘almost drop my phone. how?’ – that reveals it isn’t RiRi and actually a real young girl, who dreams of becoming a model.
Since the picture was posted, she’s gained almost 15k followers and America’s Next Top Model founder Tyra Banks posted asking for people to identify her. With fans in the form of Rihanna, Banks, as well as Jazelle, Snoop Dogg, and make-up artist Priscilla Ono (read more on her work with Rihanna on Dazed Beauty today), it likely won’t be long before you see more of her.
