Some people struggle to use the correct pronouns for trans people so someone's invented something to help them out
Unless you live under a giant rock, you'll know that Caitlyn Jenner has announced her transition in a way only befitting someone of her stature – on the front page of Vanity Fair.
She's asked people to call her a she and by her new name Caitlyn, with the hashtag #CallMeCaitlyn spreading the message. A few people can't quite get their heads around it, so someone's made a bot that saves everyone the time of shouting out corrections on Twitter.
@she_not_he automatically calls anyone out who uses the wrong pronouns. The bot says in its bio: "I am a bot politely correcting Twitter users who misgender Caitlyn Jenner in their tweets. I might make mistakes reading your tweet!! I'm only human. (Not.)"
Incorrect pronouns aside, Twitter has been flooded with support for Caitlyn. Hopefully this will inspire love for all trans people who don't have the same access to Vanity Fair covers and medical care that she did, or those who simply don't want to fit into our cisnormative idea of what beauty is.
