Our vending machine travels to London's St Martins Lane Hotel, stocking one-off items from Katie Eary, Gary Card and Tom Vek
Creating a unique, luxe vending machine that made a play on the traditional hotel gift store, Dazed & Confused Magazine was invited to curate 'Semi-Automatic', a unique retail concept launched at Art Basel Miami, by Morgans Hotel Group in 2008.
In celebration of London Fashion Week, Semi-Automatic will be stocking new exclusive items, featuring exquisite pieces from Craig Lawrence, Jordan Askill, Katie Eary and Husam el Odeh
The touch-operated screen of Semi-Automatic allows guests to purchase a selection of luxury and one-off items including: Bespoke creations from set designer Gary Card, British designer JW Anderson, special edition Dazed 20th Anniversary T-shirts with designs by Tim Noble & Sue Webster, Marnie Webber and Mark Titchner; Tom Vek and Maharishi Collaborative T-shirts; Jacqueline Rabun's “Dazed” charmed bracelet; David David Hand-painted T-shirts; a scarf from Ann-Sofie Back and the hardcover book, Dazed & Confused: Making It Up As We Go Along, amongst many, many more.
In celebration of London Fashion Week, Semi-Automatic will be stocking five new exclusive items at St Martins Lane Hotel, featuring exquisite pieces from Craig Lawrence, Jordan Askill, Earnest Endeavours, Husam el Odeh and Katie Eary's limited edition T-Shirt design for The Big Pink's new album 'Future This', inspired by 80's skate graphics. The 32-slot machine, which is located in Covent Gardens' St Martins Lane lobby, will contain items as selected by Dazed and Confused from November 2011 until March 2012.
Semi-Automatic curated by Dazed & Confused, will be fully operational within St Martins Lane lobby from November until March 2012, available to guests 24 hours a day, seven days a week
