What themes do you keep coming back to in your work?
It’s just creating my own world. That’s deeper into what I wanna do. I just wanna dive more into that. This winter I want to move to Brooklyn to make this next body of work. To get out of town and hermit myself and create a whole other world. I want to build more things, create creatures. There’s a few locations I’m going, pure landscapes to look at art in cinematic ways. It’s like Kenneth Anger, it’s like having a place, and then a character and a story.
