Sam Sparro

He plays the futuristic Makuhari Messe venue in Japan alongside Soulwax, Gus Gus, DJ Hell, Mr Oizo and more.
What was the first piece of Diesel you bought?
I remember buying my first pair of Diesel jeans - they were flares- it was during the time that flares made a comeback in the Nineties. They were light patchwork denim and I wore them all the time.
What can we expect from the night of the Diesel xxx party?
Judging from the line-up I think it's going to be an incredible party. I'm a little nervous as LCD Soundsytem are playing and they are one of my favourite bands. I'm just going to get up there with my band and play a selection of my best tracks.
What are the ingredients of the best party?
A nicely lit sexy environment, a selective and discerning crowd, good drinks and hypnotic music.
What's next up from you?
I'm going to finish up my tours in the UK, Europe, Japan and Australia and then lay very low for a while to make some new music.

The most formidable new dance label, Paris-based Ed Banger Records have been setting parties on fire with their hip hop electro crunk goodness. They play a top secret location in Paris alongside Crookers, Bloc Party DJ’s and more.
What was the first piece of Diesel you bought?
I was more impressed by Diesel images than the proper clothes. Diesel ads are strong and crazy. David Lachapelle, Pierre Winther and more big photographers invented a Diesel world. It started in the mid 90's, and I was young. I even bleached my hair after seeing it on a Diesel ad!

Lindstrom
Norwegian cosmic-disco auteur Lindstrom’s expansive symphonic sci-fi sound has yielded some modern dance classic records. He heads up the party in Milan at Studio 2000 alongside Chicks On Speed, Who Made Who among others.

I probably made a lot of great music wearing my first pair of Diesel jeans ;-D

The Teenagers
Since their last appearance on Dazed Digital, The Teenagers have built
on the success of their perv-pop classic, ‘Homecoming’ and released a
‘totally awesome’ debut album that was equal parts trashy and sweet,
winning rabid fans all over the world in the process. They play the
custom built super-club, matter, in a series of top secret
collaborations on the night, alongside Mark Ronson, Pete Doherty,
Mystery Jets, Florence And The Machine, Patrick Wolf, Friendly Fires
and more.

I am still in Paris right now so I didn’t have time to go yet, but I have been on the website and there are some great tees...
What can we expect from the night of the Diesel xxx party?
It’s a crazy line up overall and Lou from New Young Pony Club is going
to play the keyboard on our very own ‘Homecoming’. We wanted her to
sing but I guess she felt she was not going to be the next American
c*nt. She is the cutest anyway!
What are the ingredients of the best party?
A good party is a party you don’t remember.
What's next up from you?
London, Helsinki, Barcelona, Mexico, Athens, NYC, Budapest, Italy for a
mini tour, south of France, and winter wonderland in the south
hemisphere with Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. We're all
looking forward to some sunshine in December.
