Anna Battista was born in Pescara, Italy. She is a writer, freelance journalist and film lecturer. Throughout her career she has written for American, British, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish publications about topics as disparate as culture, fashion, lifestyle, politics and social issues, but one thing has remained unchanged in her life, her unbound admiration for Elsa Schiaparelli.
