This month Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong support Dizzee Rascal and Babyshambles on a huge UK tour. For our December issue, Dazed brought Joe and Dizzee together to see what a skinny white rocker and a rude boy from Bow have in common.

Message: Before The Pipettes, there was Basement Jaxx and Dizzee Rascal guested with them doing Lucky Star. Then, when Joe chose to leave The Pipettes as thier drummer to persue his own career, I saw Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong at The Boogaloo. Twice.
Remi Nicole who was headlining those showcases is as relevant as anyone I've mentioned here. So basically, we have south London, East London and North london united expressively through a common passion for popular music. -Lets not leave west London out in the cold though, Big Audio Dynamite remain as one of my all time faves ever.
GO REMI! GO THE PIPETTES! (Laydeez first, as I'm an old school gentleman.) GO DIZZEE! GO JOE'N'CO!
This video is gold dust in my eyes. Proper!
