JKD Collective’s Synchronized Drops
A mind melting new video from Tokyo’s progressive audio visual collective

Curtain down on the hugely successful launch of a new living music collaboration in Tokyo
Satellite Voices Tokyo's first event partnership, WE HERE NOW, took place last Thursday at Secobar in Shibuya. With a phenomenal live performance from guest Bearight and veteran Tokyo DJ Aosawa taking to the decks, the night injected some welcome energy into Tokyo’s nightlife. We have no doubt that the night’s founders Chris Akira and Tomoyoshi Nomizo will go on to successfully develop a young sound scene to come out of Japan.
With a wild mix of characters in the audience, united by a passion for music, the venue was buzzing until the end. Tokyo loves the boys’ enthusiasm and the new concept delivered a thrill. There was a seriously lively and buzzing atmosphere as people shrugged off their pretensions and let themselves go.
May this be the first of many nights and let’s hope it shakes up the city and spurs on others to get inventive.
