"The One Minutes" is a moving image event and festival that celebrates film that lasts exactly for one minute. "The One Minutes" were launched in 1998 and now it has become a worldwide festival, launching in Shanghai four-years-ago. "The One Minutes Foundation" and East China Normal University Design School has also established the One minute Video Station in China with inspiring workshops to get involved with.
"The One Minutes" also provides the opportunity for everyone to share their own one minute masterpiece under the following unique genres:
- Performing Arts: Live acts perform
- Road movie: a no subtitles travel video
- Death: all things about death
- Advertisement: focus on a product which may not exist
- Mobile Photography: a changing tiny picture with no stories
- Decorative arts: details of the object
