A fashion boutique's communist collaboration
- Text by Karchun Leung
Now this is an interesting collaboration that could only happen in China. Feispace is a select shop located in the Beijing 798 art district which has made its name with a well curated selection of new designers alongside its Topshop collection. On the otherhand, Madame Mao’s Dowry is a special shop in Shanghai that sells interesting communist style design products. I don’t know how or why they would join up together, but recently Feispace has popped up in Madame Mao’s Dowry as a temporary shop, selling designer brands like Marios Schwab, Jonathan Saunders, House of Holland and of course, Topshop.
