A pop-up central hub celebrating the city's DIY aesthetic

  • Text by Karchun Leung

Central Studio is a photographer studio in the heart of Shanghai, which houses the city's creative DIY hub. Their Spring Fair was a community success, where the studio held an open invite to friends and family, to display and sell their DIY art, fashion and design. An impromtu pop-up market ensued, celebrating the city's artistic community and 'make something' new aesthetic. Satellite Voices popped down for the afternoon and found a scene buzzing with creative fulfillment.
