Wang Xin and Ye Linghan's joint exhibition explores the disappearing future
- Text by Karchun Leung
"Go Back To Future" is an exhibition introducing two young artists' work, Wang Xin and Ye Linghan at the inspired Vanguard Gallery. Wang Xin's video "Pumpkin Land" and Ye Ling Han's paintings are responses to both their different inspirations and new challenges they face today. Having just graduated from the New Media Department of School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Wang Xin has always been highly curious about exploring the invisible world that is vague and uncertain. In her works one can never miss her aspiration and cautious stepping into the ample and mysterious realm. Whereas, in Ye Linghan's pieces you will find find links to the past and China's history. His way of recording and imagining history is about disappearing existence, there's a mystery that is both tangible and intangible.
Go Back To Future runs to December 27 at the Vanguard Gallery @
