The Patchbox Project is a dynamic exhibition designed by the creative studio elsewhere factory for the concept space, club and gallery CARGO. Founded in 2008, the art collective are all about exploring creative collaborations and have ventured into also being an underground record label too. This collaboration is an unfailing crossroads and symbol of creative fermentation that drives one of the most prolific and vibrant metropolitan areas - Pigneto, in the east of Rome. The project will involve a selection of over 50 global artists, through an exhibition of limited edition artworks.

Opening on May 17 and running for three months, the idea is that the publis can interact with the show by buying pieces for only 10 Euros each, immediately taking the art away with them and leaving an empty space in the show. This will remain empty for 48 hours whilst a replacement piece is hung. The constant recontruction of the exhibition will be documented throughout the project's website with all proceeds going to the creation of an epic catalogue of the project.

Patchbox Project at Cargo opens on May 17 @
