The Parisian style maven Stéphane Ashpool collaborates with Dutch filmmaker Paul Geusbroek on a dynamic baller new video project

The good people at the inimitable Pigalle store / collective / designers / ballers in Paris have unveiled a stunning new short film entitled "Barbes Basketball". As part of the Pain O chokolat crew - who are routed in basketball culture - Pigalle Paris has launched a new initiative to support local amateur basketball teams who have a strong sporting and social background.
For the first collaboration Pigalle has chosen their local quick rising team Goutte d'Or Basket Ball, from nearby Barbès, re-designing their kits and creating an awesome video documentary by Paul Geusbroek whose dark, subversive yet cinematic style captures the beautiful energy of the district. Powered by Nike Stadium Paris and Bowery Stadium, we're looking forward to the roll out of this inspiring project.
