  • Text by Satellite Voices

Jill Caytan is a talent scout and DJ in Paris and one of our gracious Paris editors and hosts. We flipped the tables and probed her about 2012.

Kate Hazell (Dubai): What do you wish your city had that it doesn't ?
Jill Caytan: The ocean.

Céline Puertas (Paris): Which foreign country would you like to discover and why?
Jill Caytan: Tanzania, for its culture and wildlife.

Sylvia Weber (Munich): What can't you live without?
Jill Caytan: Books.

Kemal Tarba (Moscow): What's the best advice you've ever been given ?
Jill Caytan: When I was very little I still remember the time someone told me that being different is a good thing, and so to be happy to be the way you are.

Simone Sebastian: So... what are you wearing ?
Jill Caytan: An oversized black chiffon shirt, tight black pants, beige Margiela boots and Kiehl's musk.

Nico Castro (Santiago): If someone was to go for the first time to your city, what would be the best place to start?
Jill Caytan: The Sacré Coeur / Montmartre neighbourhood.
