Photographer Elizaveta Porodina is introducing her new series in baroque-chic
- Text by Lea Rieck
Models cuddling with a skull, large flower bouquets around their necks, on top of their heads juxtaposed against their fair skin. The new series from the upcoming photographer Elizaveta Porodina arouses a baroque feeling. The pictures bring together Elizavetas experiences in the world of fashion, photography and above all, they are about real human attachment.
"I met someone who became a really important part of my life and fills my heart with a strange warmth. It never ceases to fascinate me how strongly my emotion can affect my photography and the look," Elizaveta says about her "Most Precious Blood" series. She got together with make up artists Stella von Senger and Model Jasmina to shoot this beautiful series of portraits. Each single image was shot through a very soft filter - physically and emotionally.
"I feel that my photographs have become much softer, warmer and more intimate. I see a certain dimension in them I did not even notice before in reality. In these moments, I am really grateful to see how intense and beautiful life can be."
