Bob Beaman Celebrates its First Year Anniversary
October 12, 2011
This weekend it's all about Munich's best loved club that came and shook up the music scene of the city
- Text by Lea Rieck
When it was announced that Munich should get a new club a year ago, not everybody was delighted. The Munich mentality is a sceptical one. Will it work to break the old rules and not settle in the usual quarters but rather build on the extension of Prinzregenten Street, nestling close to the university quarter, where to be honest, good parties were very rare occasions?
One year later and the club crew from Bob Beaman proved everyone wrong. You can hardly imagine a Munich nightlife without Bob Beaman nowadays. One of the best sound systems of the city and innovative bookings have made the club incomparable with other spaces.
This weekend, Bob Beaman invites you to celebrate its first birthday! On Friday, Kerri Chandler and Trevor Jackson are guests, while the Saturday is all about the Bob Beaman residents.
