When it comes to fashion from and made-in-Munich, designer Miriam Schaaf is one to watch and she recenty opened her own online store. Her collection is based on the basic non-colours - black and white and mainly made for men - there are as well some unisex pieces like shirts or tights that could make every female person happy. Satellite Voices asked the upcoming talent a few questions. Prepare yourself to hear more from her in the future!
Satellite Voices: What makes you smile?
Miriam Schaaf: Me doing silly things- especially in the morning before my first coffee.
SV: What was the first thing you ever made?
Miriam Schaaf: As a child? I created a wooden house for my guinea pig...
SV: As a designer?
Miriam Schaaf: A long black skirt.
SV: What’s your dream project?
Miriam Schaaf: I would love to burn all the clothes in the world in one gigantic fire.
SV:What do you wish you had written / created?
Miriam Schaaf: Anti-Sweden Jeans.
SV: Who’s work / art / music would you recommend on checking out?
Miriam Schaaf: Ditto Destroyer.
SV: How do you describe your work?
Miriam Schaaf: Dark, futuristic and very personal.
