An extreme theatre project, an artwork of human physicality
- Text by Antonia Wille
A red coloured stage. A black room. And black chairs for the audience. In the middle of the stage white colour and machinery to move red pieces of meat. Sounds weird! But it's the new extreme theatre project at the Muffatwerk.
Under the title of "Weisses Fleisch" (white meat) the performance group around Alexeji Sagerer shows a play of physicalness. The colours red, black and white are in the center of the artwork. The artists play with the meaning of colour, body and movement. The white meat becomes a symbol of human physicality.
