Kicking off the new Satellite Voices series about the city's creative heads and their urban homes
- Text by Sylvia Weber
There is nothing more intimate, yet significant about the private lifestyle of creative spirits. Satellite Voices Munich´s new series is all about the peek throught those key holes. We start with opening our own doors, and have a closer look on how our editor Antonia Wille lives in her romantic flat in the West of Munich.
Satellite Voices: What´s your favorite place in the flat and why?
Antonia Wille: Definitly my couch in the living room. I do everything on it. I work, I study, I eat an drink, I watch TV series and I sleep on it. And of course: I write my articles for Satellite Voices on the couch.
Satellite Voices: How would you describe your interior style?
Antonia Wille: My style is very clean, modern and puristic. Most of my furniture is grey and white. Additional to that I add a lot of plants and lights to create a warm atmosphere.
Satellite Voices: How would be your dream flat and interior if money was no subject?
Antonia Wille: I would definitly choose an industrial loft with a big roof top terrace. I love open apartments with a rough charme. Ideally the loft would be placed in the middle of the city near the Isar.
Satellite Voices: Can you tell us about the other items in the pictures?
Antonia Wille: I love the tailor´s dummy that my mother bought in Italy. My favourite place in summer is our own little garden in the middle oft he city. The wooden dining table is a heirloom from my family.
