Irina Grigoryeva reveals her highlights of Moscow’s catwalk season

Moscow born Yelena Tsvetaeva is a graduate of Moscow State University of Printing Arts. She splits her time between Moscow and Ludwigsburg, where she studies at the cinema academy of Baden-Wuerttemberg. Lena is an illustrator and artistic editor of the Schrumdirum magazine and can be found collaborating with various publishing houses. At the moment she is working on a trailer for the international animation cinema feast in Stuttgart.
Satellite Voices: How do you describe your work?
Yelena Tsvetaeva: I take a piece of paper, pencils, turn on an audiobook and ... and step on the gas.
SV: How does your perfect weekend look like?
Yelena Tsvetaeva: At my work table, checking cartoons in the evening and something yummy to eat with my family.
SV: What do you consider your greatest success so far?
Yelena Tsvetaeva: It's never the same, sometimes I prefer one and next day another one. I really try not to think about it at all and just make the very best book each time.
SV: What do you enjoy about the medium of illustration?
Yelena Tsvetaeva: Everything!
