Christophe Victoor (Paris): What would be your everyday meal if you had to chose just one?
Simone Sebastian: My mum's traditional South Indian chicken curry. That shit is gooood.
Christine Bierhals (Munich): What was the most amazing event for you personally in your city 2011?
Simone Sebastian: I'm still reeling from an amazing talk by Werner Herzog a few weeks ago. A choice moment for me was when a young student in the audience asked him for advice on becoming a filmmaker - Herzog suggested that he work as a bouncer at a sex club. Class. Herzog was and always will be the most charming, inspiring and funny guy in the room.
Emi Kameoka (Tokyo): What is your favorite book character?
Simone Sebastian: Adrian Healey, the lying, cheating, delightfully funny protagonist in Stephen Fry's "The Liar".
Kristina Voytovich (Moscow): What songs are the most popular on your iPod?
Simone Sebastian: Daedelus "Overwhelmed" (feat. Bilal), Roman GianArthur "Depraved Valet" (feat. Kevin Barnes), SBTRKT "Golddigger", and The Watkins Screamers "She Said" (off our friend's awesome label Ten Thousand Yen).
Luca Lo Pinto (Rome): What are you wearing while you are answering to this question?
Simone Sebastian: An old GSUS jumper (stolen from my husband), dirty black jeans, patent leather ankle boots and a scowl (because my coffee just isn't strong enough this morning).
Luca Lo Pinto (Rome): Where’s the best outdoor place to have sex in your city?
Simone Sebastian: Considering sex in public is illegal in Dubai (a British couple were jailed in 2008 for having sex on a beach), I would say the best place to get it on in this city is at home. With the doors locked. And the blinds closed. Sex? No one's having sex in here officer...
Nico Castro (Santiago): If you could go to any of the other seven cities in SV to spend your holidays, where would you go?
Simone Sebastian: I'm completely fascinated by Shanghai and would love to check out the scene there. As a long term resident of Dubai, I'm interested to see how another city deals with manic urban growth.
